North Carolina Aquarium

I love aquariums. I had been to the Riley's Believe It Or Not Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tn several years ago. I am sure it has grown since then. It is unique in that you walk or stand on the moving sidewalk in a tunnel and the water and fish are all around and over you. Unique! Very interesting to see fish swimming over top of you. They have some pretty large sharks there. In fact one place you can see where they have scratched the glass with their teeth.

The North Carolina Aquarium is a good aquairum also. They have a tank of sharks. I think they said there were about 19 sharks in the tank. The sharks at this aquarium were not as large as the ones at Gatlinburg. We saw an interview with one of the divers while she was in the tank with the sharks. There was another diver in the tank with her keeping the sharks away from her. Also there were two divers cleaning around the tank while they were having the interview. The audience would ask questions and the diver would answer them.

There were several sea horses. They are interesting fish. And this stripped fish. Can't remember what it was called, but I thought it was interesting.
We had a good visit to the aquarium.
