31 dayers: day 12

When I get ready to put the quilt in the hoops, I try to put the hooks near the center of the quilt. I quilt from the center to one edge. Usually I quilt to the right. Then come back to the center and quilt to the left edge. I do not pin or baste the thicknesses together. I know I should, but most of the time I can keep it straight and all the wrinkles out of the top and bottom. Once I have that one row quilted, I can pretty much quilt then from side to side.
