Poinsettia Quilt

This is a Poinsettia quilt I made many years ago. Every Holiday season I get it out and put it on a bed in the house. A friend of ours many years ago had made one, I think it was her one and only quilt. She said she did not ever intend to make another one and gave me the pattern. I can't remember now how many of those yellow bracs had to be cut out and appliqued on. You had to use a penny as the pattern for that piece. Needless to say, I never intend to make another one either. I can do okay with the piecing and appliquing, but I don't really like cutting out those small pieces.
Just thought I'd get in the holiday spirit.
