Book Review: An Amish Wedding

The book, An Amish Wedding, wirtten by three different authors was given to me by Thomas Nelson Publishing Company to review. I have read a lot of Amish books by different authors but not any of the three who wrote this book.
The three books, or novellas, were written by three different authors but were written about the same people. They all centered around one family and their acquaintances and, of course, weddings. The Amish go all out when one of their children gets married. One of the books mentioned that they were expecting four hundred people to attend the wedding. They always feed them a big meal after the wedding. The attendants dresses are all hand sewed. They really put a lot of work into the wedding feast and the wedding itself.
It is typical that the bride and groom live at least two weeks with the bride's parents. This time may be longer if the couple does not have their house completed by the end of the two weeks.
I like to read Amish books. I like to read clean books that do not have bad words or take God's name in vain. All the Amish books I have ever read have been very clean and very respectful of God.
These were very good books.
